Heartland Generation recognizes the privilege - and the responsibility - we have in powering the communities where we operate.
We are strong supporters of the transition to a reliable, low carbon energy future and are proud to be playing a leading role in Alberta in the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Our fleet is 100 percent natural-gas fired generation and we continue to invest in new opportunities, such as our Battle River Carbon Hub (BRCH) project, that will position our assets to play a meaningful role in the energy transition.
