Joni Tymensen
Joni Tymensen is Director, Human Resources of Heartland Generation overseeing the company's Human Resources and people strategies, organizational capability and core HR service delivery functions.
Joni has more than 20 years of diversified experience in energy and Human Resources including talent acquisition, labour and employee relations, total rewards, building culture and engagement, labour and employee relations, organizational effectiveness and capability, talent management and mergers and acquisitions.
Most recently, Joni was Senior Human Resource Manager at ATCO Power from 2015 to 2019. Prior to ATCO Power, Joni held senior Human Resources positions with energy and services companies, including AltaGas Ltd., Tervita Corporation, and Centrica.
Joni is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge.
